pets in the halls of science

staring into a dissecting scope for hours on end can bring on some heavy innervisions. with that said, friday was slightly different. a bird said hello to me while i was dissecting algae zygotes!! it's the way things go, pets are just becoming more common at the lab these days. the fur-pants pictured above has been making regular appearances. sort of sketchy, when is this dog going to smell some split phenol and decide to make a taste test? ewww.... but you have to keep your eye on the PMA. at least the bird didn't shit in my petri dish.
