Michael Angelo - "Checkout" (from "The Guinn Album")

I have to admit, there's something magical about an album that sounds like it was made in some basement out in Anywheresville, Midwest, U.S.A., by a lone hermit painstakingly recording each layer of each song by himself onto a cassette player. I've been searching for this one for a while, finally found it ... and maybe that's not actually how it was made, but it's what I'd like to imagine.
