This last friday DELOREAN graced NYC with a sold out show at Music Hall of Williamsburg. After the problems of the last year, the kidnapping and subsequent cancelled tour in particular, it was really special and wonderful to see them.
For the first few days of the tour they brought one of our favorite new NYC artists with them, Mas Ysa. The partnership clearly included some mutual fandom as Mas Ysa just recently volunteered his mixing skills on their recent single “Unhold”. Today Nowness has premiered the new video from Delorean, for the song “Unhold” from the band’s new album Apar. The song, and now the video, feature appearances from Caroline Polachek of Chairlift
Last week Delorean were had to cancel their American tour bc of a really horrible series of events. We’re happy to say that they’ve managed to reschedule the majority of the tour, and will be returning stateside this January/February. More than anything we are happy and relieved that they are safe and back with their families and loved ones. But we are also grateful that they’ll be bringing their show back stateside – they are truly one of the most special live bands in the world and it would’ve been a crime (albeit a significantly less terrible one) if folks didn’t get a chance to see them.
