Last Saturday night, I saw Teengirl Fantasy play one of the most special sets I’ve seen in a long time, at 285 Kent in Brooklyn. It was like a SAUNA in there. On July 20th Teengirl Fantasy are heading out on a co-headlining tour with their friends/soul mate Pictureplane w/ Gatekeeper as main support. This will be the East/Midwest version of their tour of the West Coast at the beginning of this year which saw them shockingly (!? Yes it’s true) selling the hell out of some relatively big spots and proving that last year’s “7AM” resulted in a pretty righteous groundswell of support for them from all directions.
