ABOUT

KELORA
Kelora’s songs live in the wilderness between genres; describing their inward emotional landscape and exploring the spectral unreality of environments around them. From the lonely woods of St. Magdalene’s Hill in Perth, Scotland, to the glistening wastes of 2020s London, Kelora fabricate the folklore of everywhere and nowhere. The duo, comprised of Kitty Hall and Benedict Salter, formed in Glasgow over a shared love of folk songwriting and low-tech laptop experimentalism. Their music explores the various ways we escape the hum and hysteria of modern life, from paranormal research to urban exploration and the psychonautical – and how these portals have helped a generation of sleepers lose themselves in kaleidoscopic melancholia.
