DAWUNA

Dawuna is a Virginia-raised, Baltimore-based artist and producer. Following the critically acclaimed release of his 2021 album 'Glass Lit Dream' (released exclusively and sold out on vinyl via Boomkat), he experienced a series of unfortunate events: a traumatic head injury that gave him amnesia, a complicated breakup in New York, and a difficult move from New York to Baltimore – all the while still writing and making music. He signs to True Panther with the surprise comeback mixtape titled 'African Family Laptop Musick', recorded entirely in his bedroom with just a 2013 Macbook Pro and MS20 Mini Synthesizer.
